Traffic volumes to increase on SA's main roads | News Article

Bloemfontein - Traffic volumes are expected to increase on the country’s main roads today as holiday makers travel to their Easter holiday destinations.

Routes that are expected to be busy include N1 between Bloemfontein and Cape Town and Pretoria and Polokwane.

The N12 connecting Johannesburg and Cape Town and N8 linking Bloemfontein and Kimberly are also expected to be affected.

The R31 linking Kuruman, Barkly West and the Namakwa district in the Northern Cape will also be busy.

The Road Traffic Management Corporation’s Simon Zwane is appealing to motorists to exercise caution and patience.
