Bloemfontein - Bloemfontein is listed as one of the top three cities to have shown growth in house prices over the past three years.
According to the latest Rode’s Report on the South African Property Market, Bloemfontein is listed along with Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
CEO of Rode & Associates, Erwin Rode, says the editor of the report compared the unemployment rate in the country’s major metros to house price growth, in order to find possible reasons behind these trends on employment and housing.
Despite Bloemfontein having a higher unemployment rate, it was able to show growth in house prices on a par with Cape Town.
