Centenarian dies in house fire─── 11:51 Thu, 21 May 2015
Rustenburg - A 103-year old North West woman has died after her RDP house caught fire last night.
Police say the victim, Mantho-lwane Modisakeng, was trapped in the house and died from smoke inhalation.
The woman resided in Section 2 of Ledig area near Rustenburg. Hawks spokesperson, Paul Ramaloko says preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was caused by a candle.
He says police are investigating a case of arson.
