Bultfontein - Free State police have registered an inquest docket after human remains were discovered on a farm outside Bultfontein yesterday.
Police spokesperson, Ian Gaobepe, says the owner of the farm Basberg reported the discovery of the human bones in a swallow grave by a worker yesterday morning.
Gaobepe says the remains are believed to be that of a man because of the clothing found on the bones. According to him the remains are currently undergoing forensic investigation to determine the identity of the deceased.

He says if the identity cannot be established through standard forensic processes, the specialized unit in Pretoria, known as the Victim Identification Centre (VIC), will be approached. The VIC is also geared to do facial reconstruction on skulls if necessary.
