Traffic offences largely reduced on N3 toll route─── OWEN KOCK 12:21 Fri, 29 May 2015
Harrismith - Traffic offences on the N3 toll route between Harrismith and Pietermaritzburg have largely been reduced due to the use of what traffic officials call the black box.
The box reads number plates within seconds via remote cameras along the route, informing officials whether the vehicle has been stolen or has outstanding fines.
Traffic officer David Makoba says the black box has made their job a lot easier.
