Dad dies in NW heli crash─── THANDI XABA 12:32 Sat, 30 May 2015
Delareyville - A 50-year-old man has died, while his 42-year-old wife and 13-year-old son sustained injuries in a helicopter crash at Delareyville.
According to North West police spokesperson Pelonomi Makau, the helicopter they were travelling in crashed at about 07:30 on Saturday.
It is alleged that the pilot and his family were travelling from Serapa Safari in Tosca outside Vryburg at the time of the accident.
At this stage, the cause of the incident is unknown and Civil Aviation is investigating.
