Bloemfontein - South Africa is a strong society and still has a long way to go, but is on the right track.
This is according to one of the members of the Cuban Five, Gerardo Hernandez.
Hernandez says since visiting South Africa, they have also seen a country that faces many problems but has the willingness to attain its goals. He said the situation in South Africa is similar to that of Cuba.
Hernandez was speaking at a media briefing at the Kaizer Sebothelo building in Bloemfontein on Tuesday.
Hernandez says people who criticise the South African government for not being able to fix the damage allegedly caused by colonialism and imperialism, are the same people who will benefit from the restoration of the difficulties.
The CR Swart Building was also officially renamed the Fidel Castro Building by Free State Premier Ace Magashule along with his cabinet.
