NC municipalities' use of grants addressed─── CATHY DLODLO 13:49 Fri, 28 Aug 2015
Kimberley - The Northern Cape Department of Sport, Arts and Culture is in talks with municipalities in the province to address the irregular use of their infrastructure grants.
MEC Lebogang Motlhaping told OFM News that his department is working hard to get young people involved with sport, instead of substance abuse and criminal activities.
He said a lack of facilities is, however, a big challenge and while municipalities receive conditional infrastructure grants, they do not always spend them as intended.
