Township tourism encouraged, provided infrastructure is improved | News Article

Bloemfontein - The Free State has the potential to attract foreign investors through excellent infrastructure and improve the province’s tourism industry.

This is according to MEC for Tourism Sam Mashinini, who shared these views at the launch of the Free State Global Investors Trade Bridge (FSGITB) this morning at Free State House in Bloemfontein. He added that the promotion of township or kasi tourism, should be prioritised.

Mashinini adds that improving facilities such as roads, rail, airports and banking will ensure stronger business opportunities in the province.

As part of the programme, the provincial government will host dignitaries and business people from various countries and seek to unlock trade and investment opportunities.
