Pictures: Sights at Nampo─── 14:58 Fri, 15 May 2015
The 2015 Grain Sa Nampo Harvest Day outside Bothaville, held this week was as big as expected. In just over three days, around 340 aircrafts (light planes and helicopters) made use of the runway, making it one of the busiest air spaces early morning.
Last year, around 70 000 visitors moved through the gates, and this year's figures will only be known next week.
As far we know, the only one serious incident that took place was one of the exhibitors, who lost her life in a freak accident in Bothaville. The only other incident was when a light grounded plane blown over by strong winds at the airfield.
Here are some pics and if you missed Nampo Harvest Day 2015, then hopefully these pics will make you want to come next year.
