Johannesburg - The four-week strike in the metal and engineering sector is over.
Numsa secretary-general Irvin Jim says union members have accepted the employers offer - which includes a 10% wage increase every year over the next three years - for the lowest paid workers.
Workers downed tools at the beginning of the month - with an initial demand of a 15% pay hike - which was later dropped to 12%. Jim says the industrial action has paid off.
