Road rage case: Bikers gather outside court─── 11:08 Thu, 21 Aug 2014
Johannesburg - Bikers gathered outside the Roodepoort Magistrate's Court on Thursday ahead of the appearance of a man accused of shooting dead a motorcyclist.
The group, mostly clad in black leather jackets plastered with emblems, gathered next to the entrance of the court.
Inside court, they lined the aisles of the public gallery as they waited for proceedings to begin.
Labour law consultant Meekahafele Mosooa, 43, was to appear for allegedly shooting Douglas Pearce.
He allegedly shot the biker in a road rage incident on Malibongwe Drive, in Northriding, Johannesburg, in February.
During his bail application earlier this year, Mosooa told the court he acted in self-defence.
