NFP leader on the mend but still in hospital─── 09:34 Mon, 24 Nov 2014
Durban - National Freedom Party leader Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi was still resting in a Durban hospital on Sunday.
"We received news from the family, she is fine [but] the doctors advised she should remain in hospital," secretary general Nhlanhla Khubisa said.
KaMagwaza-Msibi was admitted to hospital on Monday.
He denied media reports that the deputy science and technology minister had suffered a stroke, saying her stay in hospital was caused by "nothing of the kind".
"She was fatigued, she never rested after the national elections. The doctors have advised that she needs rest."
KaMagwaza-Msibi's family said she had "improved dramatically", he said.
A prayer meeting for kaMagwaza-Msibi was held in her home town of Ulundi on Sunday.
