Pretoria - With next Friday marking the first anniversary of the passing of the father of the nation, Nelson Mandela, the Department of Social Development and Nelson Mandela Foundation are today outlining plans to commemorate the day.
South Africa’s first democratically elected President passed away at his home in Johannesburg in the early hours of 5 December 2013 at the age of 95.
The country and millions across the world celebrated his legacy during the official ten-day mourning period ahead of his funeral on 15 December 2013.
