Tripartite alliance locked in critical talks─── 08:19 Sun, 28 Jun 2015
Pretoria - The African National Congress and its alliance partners are locked in critical talks in Pretoria this weekend.
The SABC reports the talks are focusing on forging unity in the tripartite alliance. Leaders of the alliance have acknowledged the challenges of unifying the group.
The summit comes as the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) fights widening divisions in the organisation. The internal split is as a result of the expulsion of Cosatu's largest affiliate the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) and the labour federation's General-Secretary Zwelinzima Vavi.
