AfriForum to lodge complaint after squabble with police─── DANE BEISHEIM 15:55 Mon, 27 Jul 2015
Pretoria - AfriForum says it will lodge complaints against Police Minister Nkosinathi Nhleko, National Police Commissioner Riah Phiyega and the Tshwane metro police.
This follows after representatives of the organization and farm attack victims were allegedly jostled and threatened with arrest after a wreath-laying ceremony at the minister's office in Pretoria this morning.
AfriForum's Ernst Roets says the memorandum they wanted to present contained a motion of no confidence in the police department and the police, due to their alleged inability and unwillingness to act decisively against farm murders.
