Durban - This National Science Week education experts warn the country may be going down a slippery slope if the quality of maths and science teaching is not improved in schools.
Suma Jovner, Project Manager for an initiative called "speed dating for the brain', says more needs to be done to encourage students to take on the subjects.
Jovner says it is important that the myth that maths and science are difficult to pass be dispelled.
