Man in court for woman's murder at Camps Bay hotel─── 11:43 Fri, 31 Jul 2015
Cape Town - A 41-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of a woman at a Camps Bay hotel is expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Friday.
The man was arrested on Wednesday, Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said.
The suspect, who is believed to be known to the woman, is not a South African national.
"The circumstances sounding this matter are being investigated," Rwexana said, but could not give any further detail on how the woman was killed.
She also said the woman's nationality had not yet been officially established, but she is thought to be American.
She said the incident was reported to police at around 15:00 on Wednesday and officers responded to the scene in Chilworth Road.
