Camps Bay hotel murder case postponed─── 15:14 Tue, 04 Aug 2015
Cape Town - The case against Guatemalan Diego Guarte, accused of killing his American girlfriend in Camps Bay, has been postponed.
The 41-year-old appeared in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on a murder charge.
According State prosecutor Carmen Daniels, the investigation into the incident is still underway and the post mortem has not yet been concluded.
The body of Gabriella Kabrins Alban, 39, was found in a hotel room at the Camps Bay Retreat last Wednesday.
According to information received by the woman's family, it is believed the marketing executive had been strangled.
The matter was postponed until August 7.
