Free State dealt 'the best with crime'─── OWEN KOCK 13:23 Tue, 29 Sep 2015
Cape Town - The Free State is the province which managed to deal the best with crime in the past financial year.
Phiyega announced that the province's aggregate performance of 80% is largely due to the decrease in contact crimes. There was one less murder in the province, stock theft dropped by 524, sexual offences by 490 and attempted murder by 90.
Phiyega also announced that the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal came in second and third respectively.
