South Africa’s Chad le Clos and Hungray’s Katinka Hosszu are one step closer to claiming the overall FINA World Cup title after dominating once again in Toyko.

The Hungarian swimming star clinched the gold medals in women’s the 200m freestyle, 100m and 200m backstroke, 200m butterfly, 100m, 200m and 400m individual medley.
 
She was also the best female performer of the gala, with her 57.74 seconds effort in the 100m individual medley.
 
Durban-born Le Clos and local hero Kosuke Hagino shared the honours in this sixth leg, winning three events a piece.
 
Hagino won the gold in the 200m freestyle, 100m and 200m individual medley, while Le Clos continued to stamp is world dominance in the 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly.
 
Le Clos was the best male performer of the competition, with his 1 minute 49.20 second win in the 200m butterfly.
 
Both Le Clos and Hosszu lead the standings in the respective mens' and womens' competitions.
