SA men’s hockey team remain unbeaten at World League. | News Article
The South African’ men’s hockey team has made it two from two at the World League tournament being played in Cape Town.
 
In their opening match on Saturday afternoon the South African’s beat China 4-3 on penalty after their match ended 4-4 after regulation time.
 
Yesterday the boys were locked in another thriller as it went down to the wire in beating continental-rivals Egypt 3-2 to go to the top of Pool A.
 
Amastokkestokke meet Switzerland in their last Pool A match on tomorrow night at 6.30pm and a solid win will ensure they finish top of the pool.
 
This will set up what should in practice be a relatively straight forward quarter-final on Thursday against the bottom team in Pool B, which is likely to be Azerbaijan.
