Stock theft leaves Hobhouse farmer "hopeless"─── SABRINA DEAN 18:10 Wed, 08 Apr 2015
Hobhouse - Barely a month after stock thieves made off with more than 40 sheep belonging to a seventy-six-year-old farmer near Hobhouse, they have hit again, leaving Sello Matlolane with only a handful of sheep to his name.
Matlolane has been targeted numerous times over the last six to nine months, with his more than 200-strong herd of sheep now whittled down to just 18 animals.
OFM’s agri editor Sabrina Dean spoke to Matlolane's son Paddy and filed this report:

Police have meanwhile confirmed the latest theft from Matlolane's farm Lindesrust on Thursday night, saying five of these sheep have since been recovered.
Martin Xuma yesterday told OFM News three sheep were recovered on the Lesotho side of the border and another two on the South African side.
