Agri union accuses Eskom of blackmailing the country─── SABRINA DEAN 15:09 Tue, 30 Jun 2015
Bloemfontein - Eskom’s suggestion that it will have to implement more load shedding because it did not receive the requested tariff increase amounts to nothing more than blackmail.

'Louis Meintjies - blackmail'
Meintjies says load shedding has far reaching consequneces for the agriculture sector, both directly and along the value chain:
'Louis Meintjies - consequences'
These comments come after the national Energy Regulator of SA yesterday refused Eskom’s request for a 12,61% tariff hike on top of the more than 12% already granted earlier this year.
