Pretoria - Organisers of the 75th annual Jacaranda Agricultural Show, which gets underway in Pretoria this week, say the four-day event will provide visitors from across the country with a showcase of agricultural opportunities for farmers and the industry at large.
Spokesperson Sya Van der Walt-Potgieter says their vision this year is to make it twice as big and twice as nice:

The wildlife farming industry will play a prominent role this year with exhibitions, workshops and a wildlife farming conference.
Other highlights include a conference on agriculture opportunities in Africa; workshops for emerging farmers co-hosted by SABC 2’s Living Land programme; the 2015 Future Farmers Youth Show; an AgriFem Hall focused on women in agriculture; and, being in blue bull territory, the popular ‘Bluest Blue Bull competition’.
The Jacaranda Agricultural Show takes place at the Tshwane Events Centre in Pretoria from August 26 to 29.
