DONT MISS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER YOUR KIDS FOR THE MTN OFM KIDDIES CLASSIC | News Article
Bloemfontein, 15 October 2012 – On Saturday, 27 October 2012, MTN and OFM will present their annual kiddies Classic at the Tempe School of Armour in Bloemfontein.  Also known as the cutest cycling race in the country, the race caters for children between the ages of just a few months to eight (8) years.

For a registration fee of only R65 each little entrant will receive a T-shirt, a medal and a bag full of goodies.
There are four categories for the race. Category one is for the age group of a few months to two years with a cycling distance of 1km. Category two is for the three to four years age group with a distance of 2kms. Category three is for the age group of five to six years who will be riding a distance of 4kms. The fourth category will cater for the age group of seven to eight year olds who will participate in a 4kms race.

It is important to note that only 120 entrants will be allowed to participate in each of the categories respectively; therefore all Parents are urged to enter their children as soon as possible to avoid disappointments.

Tumi Sefemo, Communication Manager at OFM says that the safety of the children taking part is paramount. “We urge all parents to firstly ensure that their children between the ages of seven and eight have cycling helmets”.
She further added that the Kiddies Classic offers a fun filled day for the entire family to enjoy. “Even the spectator will surely be entertained by the sight of babies being pushed in their strollers”.

Registrations for the Kiddies race will take place at the MTN Service Centre on Nelson Mandela Drive in Bloemfontein on Friday, 26 October 2012 between 10:00 and 17:00.  The race will officially start on the 27th at 08:00.
