Due to the recent extreme cold weather, all towns of Dihlabeng Local Municipality have been experiencing a large number of water pipe bursts.
Water meters have also been damaged by the ice build-up.
Currently all the teams within the Water Section are working overtime to attend to all the damage, but even so there is a back-log of up to 24 hours with new complaints coming in all the time.
We would like to assure residents that we are doing our utmost to catch up on the back log and would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding in this regard.
