Bloemfontein - The 2014/15 Premier Soccer League season is starting to gain momentum, with two rounds already complete.

For Bloemfontein Celtic, it has been a slow, but solid start as they aim to improve on the previous season, where they finished 6th in the league.

Phuyna Sele Sele have two draws from their first two matches after drawing one-all against Black Aces and two-all against Orlando Pirates at home.

This is something they will certainly look to improve on, taking into account they drew 13 of their 30 games in the previous campaign.

The club identified the start of the season as a tough one with matches against Kaizer Chiefs, AmaZulu and Platinum Stars to come in this month.

The sides, new defender Bevan Fransman who have represented Bafana Bafana on 19 occasions says it’s just a matter of putting things into place.
Coach Ernst Middendorp who wasn’t happy with the sides’ performance following their draw against Clive Barkers’ Aces, was a much happier man after the draw against the Buccaneers.

The German coach, however still feels a few players aren’t pulling their weight at the moment, and it’s something they need to rectify before facing the other Soweto Giants, the Amakhosi tonight.

However, he is confident that they can beat the best, both home and away.
Joel Mogorosi, who has long been one of the clubs stars, has stepped up to the plate after taking over the sides’ captaincy following the departure of star defenders and captains, Thabo Nthethe and Clayton Daniels to Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United respectively.

Since taking over the captains armband, the Botswanan internationals’ game has shifted into a higher gear, has is currently their leading goal scorer with two goals from the two outings.

A debatable penalty lead to Oupa Manyisas’ first goal the Seas Robbers against the Celtic, however, the skipper feels they’ve got to take it on the chin.

Siwelele have shifted they focus to the Amakhosi for this evenings’ ever popular fixture at the iconic FNB Stadium in Soweto.

Tonight’s match kicks off at 19:30.
