Tough 2nd rounds waits for Central South African teams─── 16:31 Mon, 16 Feb 2015
The Central South African teams will face a tough second round this evening in the Varsity Cup, with all the teams playing away from home.
At 18:30 this evening, the University of the Free Shimlas tackle the log leading University of Johannesburg at the UJ stadium and the side from Bloemfontein will be looking to do better than their draw to Tukkies last week.
At seven o ‘clock North West University Pukke will be aiming for their second win of the campaign when they take on the ever difficult Maties in Stellenbosch.
At 16:45 the new boys on the block, Central University of Technology Ixias still hunt for their first win of the competition when the take on the unpredictable NMMU Madibaz in Port Elizabeth.
The Ixias will look to improve after their 46-10 drubbing at the hands of UJ last week and coach Skillie Bester told OFM Sport that they simply have to improve.
The final game of today sees the University of Pretoria Tuks at home against the defending champions the UCT Ikeys with kick-off at 18:30.
