The Cheetahs resume training earlier─── 16:31 Tue, 17 Feb 2015
The Toyota Cheetahs will resume their training regime on Thursday afternoon, despite having a bye weekend in the Super Rugby.
The side’s campaign got off to a prefect start last weekend when they beat the Sharks 35-29 in Durban for a bonus point win.
It has been confirmed that Lood de Jager hasn’t fractured his elbow however he will still be out of action for considerable time.
The bye comes at a bad time for Naka Drotské’s chargers, but the team has re-evaluated their strategy and they will resume training earlier.
Assistant coach, Hawies Fourie told OFM Sport that they need to get as many points from their home games as possible.
The Cheetahs tackle the New Zealand outfit, the Blues at the Free State Stadium next Friday, with kick-off at 19:10.
