Cheetahs to name side to face Blues today─── 08:46 Wed, 25 Feb 2015
The Toyota Cheetahs are set to name their side today which with tackle the Blues in their first home game of the season.
While side are without the services of injured Springbok Lood de Jager for a big part of the season, Carl Wegner is expected to get a starting role against the side from Auckland.
The rest of the team is also expected to remain largely unchanged from the one that beat the Sharks 35-29 in Durban in the opening round of the Super Rugby.
Centre Johann Sadie who missed the first match will likely start off the bench after Francois Venter and Michael van der Spuy did a stellar job in the midfield in Durban.
Springbok winger, Cornal Hendricks looks set to replace Clayton Blommetjies, while seems Heinrich Brüssow is still not ready for selection.
Friday evening’s match at the Free State Stadium kicks off at 19:10.
