Nelson Mandela Bays Seven set for CT move | News Article

The South African Rugby Union is expected to announce that the highly successful Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens will be relocated to Cape Town.

Tomorrow morning SARU is set to make the announcement from the Cape Town Stadium, which will be the new venue of the South African leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series.

A source close to SARU and OFM Sport confirmed that tournament will be moving and is apparently at the insistence of the title sponsor due to the ease of access the Mother City has to offer.

With the Springbok Sevens team already based in Stellenbosch, the move to the Mother City would be beneficial.
