Peacock Blues excited ahead of Province match─── 16:30 Mon, 20 Apr 2015
The Griquas are champing at the bit ahead of their Vodacom Cup match against Western Province this weekend Kimberley.
Both teams will enter the match unbeaten after four matches.
Over the past weekend the Peacock Blues thumped Boland 62-19 in Veldrif while Western Province in their turn hammered the Border Bulldogs 34-6.
These two big wins sets the scene for the match which will serve as the main game on the first day over the Wildeklawer Super Schools festival at Hoërskool Diamantveld.
After a long bus trip from the Cape, the Griquas took the day off, but coach Peter Engeldow told OFM Sport that they are excited going into the game.
Saturdays’ match kicks off at 15:00 on the A field, while at 12:40 Grey College take Hoërskool Waterkloof and at 13:50 hosts Diamantveld locks-horns with Oakdale from Riversdal.
