Bulls make four changes | News Article

The Bulls have made four changes to their pack which will run out against the Toyota Cheetahs in the Super Rugby.

The match in Pretoria will be the last four both teams in the competition with neither being able to secure a play-offs berth.

Coach Frans Ludeke was forced to make the changes through injury and the SARU rest agreements,.

This will see Jan Serfontein, Handre Pollard, Deon Stegmann, Dean Greyling, Victor Matfield and Lappies Labuschagné all miss the match.

Matfield will be replaced by Grant Hattingh and former Cheetah, Labuschagné by Arno Botha at flank, while Greyling’s spot will be filled by Morné Mellett on the loosehead.

Former Cheetahs captain Adriaan Strauss, who was rested last weekend against the Melbourne Rebels is back in the starting XV with Callie Visagie moving to the bench as replacement hooker.

Bulls captain, Pierre Spies says there is s still a lot for them to play for and they will hunt for a full-house of points.

"The Cheetahs team will have nothing to lose and will certainly attack from all angles, but we are also very keen to end our season on a high.

"We are back at Loftus Versfeld for a last time this season and would like to give the supporters something to cheer about.

"That said, there is no time for emotional goodbyes, as we will have to play for 80 minutes to make sure we get the right result.

Tomorrow afternoon’s match at the fortress Loftus kicks off at 17:05.
