Pressure on Griquas─── 09:17 Fri, 19 Jun 2015
The Griquas are feeling the pressure somewhat ahead of their Currie Cup premier division qualifier against the Boland Cavaliers tomorrow afternoon.
The Peacock Blues campaign to gain promotion to the worlds’ toughest domestic rugby competition got off to the worst possible start last week with a 20-13 loss to the Border Bulldogs.
The side from Kimberley will be looking set the record straight when they tackle the Cavaliers in Kimberley assistant coach Peter Engeldow told OFM Sport that they can’t afford anymore slip-ups.
The Leopards by contrast will be oozing with confidence ahead of their match in against the Valke after a handing the SWD Eagles a 45-17 hiding in George last week.
The Eagles are in town for their match against the Griffons in Welkom tomorrow and both teams will be looking for their first wins of the campaign.
