Wellington buzzing ahead of Super Rugby final─── 08:51 Fri, 03 Jul 2015
The New Zealand capital city, Wellington is buzzing with excitement ahead of tomorrow’s big Super Rugby final between the Hurricanes and Highlanders.
Word from Wellington is indicating that it is raining heavily today and there is concern that it may dampen things a bit for the actual game.
However, nothing can dampen the spirits of the people in the city.
With both teams known for their running and attacking rugby, the weather could prove to be the big leveler tomorrow.
With the recent passing of All Blacks and Hurricanes great Jerry Collins and the looming retirement of captain Conrad Smith and his centre partner Ma’a Nonu, emotions could get to the Canes.
Well-known rugby scribe, Brendan Nel is in the city and he told OFM Sport that that he doesn’t think emotions will play too much of a factor.
Tomorrow’s big final at the Westpac Stadium kicks off at 9:35.
