Bloemfontein - Bloemfontein Celtic has announced the signing of 18-year-old striker, Tshepo Chaine, from Black Urbans.
The club signed the talented marksman on a two-year deal after eyeing him for quite some time.
According to the club, the player has been impressing during the training camp of the last two weeks and has even caught the attention of coach, Ernst Middendorp.
“I am very excited to join such a big team as Celtic and am looking forward to making a mark in PSL football. Joining Celtic will serve as a motivation to the local youth", said Chaine, who hails from Botshabelo, outside Bloemfontein.
Furthermore, the side have been boosted with the news that midfielder Keagan Buchanan will ready to return from injury, two months ahead of schedule.
The side's medical team confirmed that Buchanan will be set for a return in October, after reputing knee ligaments during the latter stages of last season.
“I am looking forward to returning to action and I have been working hard on making a quick recovery,” said Buchanan.
“It looks like I will miss only two months of competitive action and that is very exciting,” he concluded.
