Bloemfontein - Premier Soccer League (PSL) club, Free State Stars have indicated that they are not done with bolstering their squad for the 2014/15 season.

This comes despite the club announcing 14 new signings at their awards ceremony on Wednesday. Stars have signed Ivorian defender Robert Sankara as well as Burkina Faso international goalkeeper Daouda Diakite.

Other players secured by the QwaQwa side are DaCosta Angula, Hendrik Somaeb, Moffat Mdluli, Sandile Mkhwanazi, Morena Mokoena, Johny Mathole, Bafana Kali, Thabiso Maharala, Tumelo Letuka and Makhehlene Makhaula.

Team Manager, Rantsi Mokoena told OFM Sport that although the team looks set for the new season, they will be looking to make a few more signings before the transfer window closes in just over a month’s time.

“We‘ve got enough depth in the team to do a lot better than what we did last season, but will make few more signings before the transfer window closes,” he said.

“The coach has got the players he wanted and they have been working hard at training.  So we're ready for the season to begin.”

Henyekane, who spent the second half of the season on loan, scored seven goals in 16 appearances for Stars which helped them avoid relegation.

Meanwhile, Rudolf Bester, the former Orlando Pirates and Golden Arrows striker, also joins Stars to strengthen the side upfront.
