Bloemfontein - Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates are confident of a full house of points this evening when they face Bloemfontein Celtic in the PSL.

The Buccaneers have vowed to turn out a better performance against the Bloemfontein side, after losing 2-1 to Moroka Swallows in the opening round.

Phunya Sele Sele go into tonight’s match with the upper hand after having won three of their last five matches against the Seas Robbers, while the other two were draws.

Celtic manager, John Maduka told OFM Sport their players need no motivation.

“We expect a tough game against Orlando Pirates, they’ve always been a very difficult team to play against, but we’re looking forward to the challenge,” said the former player.

“It’s going to be difficult, especially after they lost to Swallows in their previous game, so they are going to look to set the record straight,” Maduka added.

The Malawian-born manager said the side from Soweto will be mindful of the fact that they drew against Black Aces over the weekend.

“But they will also know that it won’t be easy, we are also looking for our first win, so it’s going to be an interesting game.

“We’re playing at home, which is an advantage for us, but when you play against the Buccaneers we've got to be tactically sound.

“Tactics against them are very important, you can’t just attack and you can’t just sit back and defend. We will take to game to them, but we will be very cautious,” Maduka concluded.

Tonight’s match at the Free State Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
