Bloemfontein - Free State Stars coach, Tom Saintfiet has warned his side of the danger midfielder, Robert Ng’ambi, could pose when his side faces Platinum Stars in tonight’s Premier Soccer League match in Rustenburg.
Saintfiet, whose side lost 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs in their league opener at the Charles Mopeli Stadium last week, told OFM Sport that the hosts will also be in search of maximum points, especially after losing 2-0 to Chippa United in Port Elizabeth.
Saintfiet said that Platinum Stars are a dangerous side at all aspects. He also added that Allan Freese’s side will be looking for positive result ahead of their MTN8 first leg semi-final match against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
Stars will be without the injured duo of Reuben Thebakang and goalkeeper Daouda Diakite for the match.
Diakite injured his knee on his debut in his side’s loss to Amakhosi and is set to be sidelined for almost six months. The match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
