Bafana Bafana are locked and loaded ahead of their opening match of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Mongomo, Equatorial Guinea.

South Africa take on the top ranked side, Algeria this evening in arguably their toughest assignment since coach Shakes Mashaba took over the side.
 
The South Africans enter the match with a lot of confidence following a 10 match unbeaten run which also them preventing the defending champions, Nigeria from qualifying for the tournament.
 
In yesterdays’ matches Tunisia and Cape Verde shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw, while in Group B’s other match, Zambia and the DCR ended all square with one goal apiece as well.
 
Coach Shakes Mashaba announced his team on the morning of Bafana's mammoth clash against the continent's top-ranked team, naming a formidable outfit dominated by players who took part during the qualification campaign.
 
South Africa - Darren Keet, Anele Ngcongca, Thabo Matlaba, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Rivaldo Coetzee, Dean Furman (captain), Andile Jali, Oupa Manyisa, Thuso Phala, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Tokelo Rantie.
 
Replacements - Jackson Mabokgwane, Brilliant Khuzwayo, Ayanda Gcaba, Thamsanqa Sangweni, Themba Zwane, Mandla Masango, Bongani Zungu, Bernard Parker, Siyabonga Nhlapho, Bongani Ndulula.
 
South Africa take on the Desert Foxes at 21:00 this evening, while Ghana and Senegal lock-horns at 18:00.
