Sunday’s big Bloemfontein derby in the Nedbank Cup last 32 is still on the cards, this is according to Bloemfontein Celtic.
Celtic are set to face sister club, Roses United in the knockout competition, however there are fears that the match may postponed.
Roses faced North West Shining Stars in a prelim match, however Stars have lodged a protest win SAFA’s appeals board.
According to the Stars, Roses United fielded an ineligible player during their prelim match.
Celtic coach, Clinton Larsen told OFM Sport earlier that Sunday’s match promises to be a great spectacle for the City of Roses.
Sunday’s match at the Free State Stadium is scheduled for 15:00.
Tomorrow Free State Stars face Wits in Johannesburg at 20:15, while on Sunday Platinum Stars face Magic FC in Rustenburg.
African Warriors and Maluti FET lock-horns at the Charles Morapeli Stadium and Mainstay United host Ajax Cape at the GWK Stadium in Kimberley.
