Bloemfontein Celtic has extended their unbeaten run since the Premier Soccer League resumed last month, with a 2-0 win over Platinum Stars in Bloemfontein.
The win saw the side move into the seventh position in the latest PSL standings.
At the same time Dikwena’s winless streak continues and their remain in the relegation zone with just 4 wins in 20 league matches.
Alfred Ndengane game Phunya Sele Sele the lead as early as the 2nd minute and the sides top scorer thus far in the season, Lerato Lamola doubled the lead 5 minutes before the break.
The scorers remained unchanged as Allan Freese’s woes continue.
At the Harry Gwala Stadiu, Free State Stars played to a goalless draw against Maritzburg United.
Celtic faces the third placed Wits on Friday evening Johannesburg while, Free State Stars take on the Brazilians at the Charles Morapeli Stadium on Saturday.
