Celtic confident of Chloorkop win | News Article

A win for Bloemfontein Celtic tonight against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League will virtually end the champions title defence.

The Brazilians are still 13 points behind the Amakhosi in the standings, albeit with two games in hand.

Last night the Glamour Boys dispatched Amatuks to put on hand on the trophy, with the Soweto Giant needing just 6 points from their four remaining games.

Chiefs assistant coach, Doctor Khumalo warned that even with the finish line in sight for his side they cannot afford to get complacent at this stage in the competition.

Celtic in their turn have conceded that they have no chance of winning the league this season, but  are focusing on a fourth place finish which could see them place CAF competitions next year.

Tonights’ match in Chloorkop kicks off at 19:30.
