Premier Soccer League leaders, Kaizer Chiefs will look to remain focused ahead of tomorrow nights’ league tie against Polokwane City in Soweto.
Thanks to Bloemfontein Celtic thumping current champions, Mamelodi Sundowns 5-0 last week, the Soweto Giants just need a win from tomorrow nights’ game to dethrone the Brazilians.
The Amakhosi will however approach the game with caution, with Costa Papic’s Polokwane side known for causing upsets from time to time.
Glamours assistant coach, Doctor Khumalo who represented the club in 397 matches, last week warned his side that they haven’t won their 12th league title year and complacency will see it slip from their grasp.
Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter said they just need to stick with what they are doing.
“We are aware of the position but all we can do is concentrate on our own mission,” says coach Baxter.
“If we continue to win our games, the title will sooner or later be ours.”
Tomorrow nights game at the FNB Stadium in Soweto kicks off at 19:30.
