Kaizer Chiefs has clinched the 2014/25 Premier Soccer League title with three games to spare after beating Polokwane City 4-1 in Soweto.
The Soweto giants just needed to win last nights’ to obtain an unassailable lead and reclaim the title they conceded to Mamelodi Sundowns last season.
George Lebese, Bernard Parker and Matthew Rusike found the back of the net for the Amakhosi with Rusike scoring a brace.
The Glamours will now focus one scoring goals in their remaining three games to avoid becoming the lowest scoring champions in PSL history.
Meanwhile, in Chloorkop outgoing champions, Sundowns were held to a 1-1 draw by Platinum Stars.
Following their draw against Dikwena, coach Pitso Mosimane congratulated Stuart Baxter and the Amakhosi on winning the title.
With 12 points on offer from four games, Bloemfontein Celtic still have their sights set on a top four finish.
