Bafana Bafana and Free State Stars defender, Danie Cardoso set to be officially unveiled as a Kaizer Chiefs player at Naturena today.
Cardoso will be departing the QwaQwa-based outfit who experienced a strong finish in the campaign and claimed a rare league double of rivals Bloemfontein Celtic.
During the past season in which Ea la Koto finished 9th in the standings, Cardoso made 22 appearances for the side and caught the attentions of national coach Shakes Masbaba.
The player made his international debut during Bafana’s 3-1 win over Swaziland in March.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates striker Helder Pelembe is the latest player of the Soweto Giants to be linked with a more to Celtic.
Last week is was revealed that the club are interested in the midfielder and defender combination of Kabelo Mahlasela and Mthokozisi Dube who are on loan to Royal Eagles in Durban in the National Football Division.
