Johannesburg. - Bafana Bafana national team coach Shakes Mashaba today named a full strength Bafana Bafana
squad ahead of their AFCON qualifier against Gambia.
The national team are set to face The Scorpions in Durban on Saturday, June 13 at the Moses Mabhida
Stadium at 15h00. The squad includes a number of players that did duty in the national side's poor COSAFA Cup campaign with the likes of Marc van Heerden, Gift Motupa, Clayton Daniels and Jackson Mabokgwanehanded another chance to show their worth to Mashaba.
The squad: Goalkeepers: Mabokgwane, Khune, Brilliant Khuzwayo. Defenders: Anele Ngcongca, Patrick Phungwayo, Thabo Matlaba, Siyabonga Nhlapho, Tefu Mashamaite, Daniels, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Rivaldo Coetzee, Heerden. Midfielders: Andile Jali, Dean Furman, Oupa Manyisa, Bongani Zungu, May Mahlangu, Thulani Serero, Ayanda Patosi, Thuso Phala, Mandla Masango, Mzikayise Mashaba. Strikers: Bonginkosi Ntuli, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Vuyisile Wana, Tokelo Rantie and Motupa.
