World number one, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Poland’s Aga Radwanska are all safely through to the semi-finals of Wimbledon, albeit, they all had to overcome tough three-set clashes.

The 2004 champion Maria Sharapova secured he spot in the last four with a 6-3, 6-7 and 6-2 win over Coco Vanderweghe of the USA.
 
She will face world number one and 20-time Grand Slam Champion, Serena Williams who in hurn turn hard to dispatch Victoria Azarenka of Belarus.
 
Williams won the quarter-final after coming from a set down to win a 3-6, 6-2 & 6-3.
 
Williams said she loves facing Sharapova every time the meet.
 
"I love playing Maria. I think she brings out the best in me. I thought we had a wonderful final in Australia. It was very entertaining. 
 
"For me, I don't feel like I have any pressure going into this match.
 
"It's just totally different for me. I don't have anything to prove. I won all the Grand Slams, multiple times. Now it's just I'm here just to enjoy it.
 
"It's actually making me play better, which is crazy. 
 
The 13th seeded Radwanka set up a date with Spain’s Garbine Muguruza with a 7-6, 6-3 & 3-6 win over Madison Keys of the USA.
 
Muguruza advance with a 7-5, 6-2 win over the 15th seeded Timea Bacsinszky of Switzerland.
 
The men’s quarters at the All England Tennis Club gets underway this afternoon.
