As South Africa approaches its fifth democratic election, there are still various dynamics that some citizens feel government is neglecting. Thaba-Nchu has been previously viewed as a trading centre for its establishment of hotels, casinos and factories and has become a major tourist attraction in the Free State, due to its proximity to Bloemfontein. OFM’s Refilwe Mekoa went to probe whether local residents are happy with how the town is developing, ahead of the general elections on the 7th of May.
